Distributed DB2 Installation on OS/2 Operating Systems

You can use this feature to install DB2 products on OS/2 operating systems:

• Locally, from a CD-ROM (see Installing DB2 Products from a Hard Disk or CD-ROM).
• Remotely, across a network connection from a hard disk or CD-ROM (see Installing DB2 Products from a Hard Disk or CD-ROM).

If you need to install the same DB2 product on several machines, you can use the unattended installation's "response file" feature: create a customized configuration; generate the customized response file; then reuse it as a template for each installation.
