Available Sample Response Files

The DB2 CD-ROM includes a ready-to-use sample response files with default entries. The sample response files are located in:

For Windows:

x:\db2\common or x:\db2\winnt95\common where x represents the CD-ROM drive.

For OS/2:

x:\db2\[lang] where x represents the CD-ROM drive and [lang] represents the two-character country code that represents your language (for example, EN for English).

For UNIX:

/cdrom/db2/install/samples where cdrom is the CD-ROM mount point.

For Windows NT and Windows 2000, the DB2 Universal Database instance-owning database partition server response file. This response file is used to install DB2 on a machine that will be the instance-owning database partition server.

The DB2 Universal Database new node response file. This response file is used to add a new node to an existing database partition system (Windows NT and Windows 2000 only).
