Enabling the DB2 OLAP Server License

The DB2 OLAP Server installation program prompts you for the edition and options that you have purchased, and uses that information to enable DB2 OLAP Server and add-on components.

If you install a license of DB2 OLAP Server and later want to add more features or additional users, you use one of the following methods:

• Run the SETUP.EXE program either from the root directory, or from the CD-ROM. The setup program will automatically update the license.
• Use the Windows Add/Remove utility:
  1. Click Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs.
  2. Select IBM DB2 OLAP Server.
  3. Select License Update (or License Modify).
  4. You can now modify the license to include the new options you are installing.
