Warehouse agents manage the flow of data between the data sources and the target warehouses. Warehouse agents are available for the Solaris Operating Environment and on Windows NT, Windows 2000, AIX, OS/2, OS/390, and AS/400 operating systems. Warehouse agents use Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) drivers or DB2 CLI to communicate with different databases. Several warehouse agents can handle the transfer of data between sources and target warehouses.
