Viewing a sample of a view's contents

Use the Sample Contents window to see a sample of the contents for the view you selected.

To see a sample of a view:

  1. Open the Sample Contents window.
  2. View the contents of the view.

    The names of the view's columns are displayed at the top of each column in the Sample Contents window. Each column's contents are displayed below the corresponding column name. You might need to use the scroll bars to see all of the view columns.
    Note:If a column contains one of the following data types, its contents are not displayed: GRAPHIC, VARGRAPHIC, LONGVARGRAPHIC, BLOB, CLOB, and DBCLOB. If a column contains a distinct type based on one of the preceding data types, its contents are not displayed.

  3. Click on the Close push button to close the Sample Contents window and return to the Control Center.
