In the Table space name field, type a
new name for the table space.
Select a radio button to indicate the Type of table
space you want to create.
Select a radio button to indicate the type of Space
management you want for the table space.
Optional: In a partitioned database environment, you can specify the nodegroup in which the table space is created by
selecting a nodegroup from the Nodegroup
list.
By default, the table space is created in the IBMDEFAULTGROUP
nodegroup.
Specify the containers to use to
store the table space.
To add a container to the list of containers that is used to create the
table space, click on Add.
To change the path or name for a container in the list, select the
container and click on Change.
To remove a container from the list, select the container and click on
Remove.
Optional: If you want to change the characteristics of a container on
one or more nodes, click on Nodes contain
Exceptions. Then click on List to open the List Exceptions window, which you
use to specify the nodes on which the characteristics of the container are
different.
Note:
If you do not change the characteristics of the container, the path for the
container must exist at every node on which the container will be
created.
Optional: Click on Advanced to specify
performance parameters for the new table space. Otherwise, default
values will be used.
