Specifying options for saving a copy of changes when loading data into a table

Use the Copy Options page of the Load notebook to specify whether and how to save a copy of the changes that are made during the load process.

Fields and controls



To specify whether and how to save a copy of the changes:

  1. Open the Copy Options page of the Load notebook.
  2. Optional: Specify that this table load be done as a nonrecoverable load by selecting the Perform nonrecoverable load operation check box.
  3. Optional: Specify that a copy of the changes be saved:
    1. Select the Save a copy of the changes made check box.
    2. Specify where you want the copy image saved by selecting one of the radio buttons under Specify the options used in saving the changes:

      TSM
      Copy is stored using Tivoli Storage Manager.

      Vendor shared library
      Copy is stored using a vendor product.

      Save to devices or directories
      Copy is stored on a device or in a directory. Click on Add to open the Add window so you can specify those devices or directories.

      The new entry is added to the list following the entry that is currently selected. If no entry is selected, the new entry is appended to the list.

    3. Optional: Modify the list of devices and directories in the Specify devices or directories list box. You can change or rearrange their order by selecting a name and using the Change, Up, and Down push buttons. You can remove directory names from the list by selecting the names and using the Remove push button.
  4. If you have specified all required information for the load process, you can start the load process now by clicking on OK. Otherwise, to specify required or optional information, or to change default values, go to one of the other notebook pages.
