Granting and revoking schema privileges for users

Use the User page of the Schema Privileges notebook to grant privileges to and revoke schema privileges from users.

To grant users privileges:

  1. Open the Schema Privileges notebook.
  2. In the User box, all users that are currently granted privileges for this schema are listed. To add additional users to this list, click on Add user. The Add User window opens.
  3. Select one or more users from the User box.
  4. To grant or revoke all privileges for the selected users, click on Grant all or Revoke all.
  5. To grant or revoke individual privileges by column, use the Privileges selection boxes. Click on the down arrow and select Yes, No, or Grant.
  6. When you have finished changing the privileges for users, click on Apply. DB2 processes your request.
  7. Click on Cancel to close the Privileges notebook and return to the Control Center.
