Layer schema

This box displays the schema name of the view for which you are creating the spatial layer. You cannot change this field.

Layer view

This box displays the name of the view for which you are creating this spatial layer. You cannot change this field.

Layer column

Use this box to specify the name of the spatial data column for this spatial layer. Click on the down arrow to display a list of existing columns and select one to use for the new spatial layer. You must use an existing column.

Column type

This box displays the spatial data type for the column that you selected in the Layer column field. You cannot change this field.

Underlying spatial layer

Use this box to specify the name of the table spatial layer (schema.table.column) from which this layer is derived. This spatial layer must already exist.
