Use this window to enable the concurrent non-DB2 data sources policy, the number of entitled non-DB2 data sources, or the enforcement policy for the specified DB2 product license.
Concurrent non-DB2 data sources
Use this check box to enable the concurrent non-DB2 data sources policy. The concurrent non-DB2 data sources policy controls and monitors the number of non-DB2 data sources that can be connected simultaneously to this DB2 server.
Number of entitled non-DB2 data sources
Use this field to type the number of entitled non-DB2 data sources.
Hard stop
Use this radio button to select a hard-stop policy. A hard-stop policy prevents license infractions; only the number of entitled concurrent non-DB2 data sources can use the product. The concurrent non-DB2 data sources policy must be enabled before a hard-stop policy can be used.
Soft stop
Use this radio button to select a soft-stop policy. A soft-stop policy logs license infractions, but does not limit product use. The concurrent non-DB2 data sources policy must be activated before a soft-stop policy can be used.
