Configure Instance -- Environment

Use the Environment page of the Configure Instance notebook to view and change the configuration parameters that affect the general characteristics and attributes of the instance. Parameters that affect the instance environment are:

• Configuration File Release Level (release)
• Machine Node Type (nodetype)
• CPU Speed (cpuspeed)
• Communications Bandwidth (comm_bandwidth)
• Maximum Number of Concurrently Active Databases (numdb)
• Transaction Processor Monitor Name (tp_mon_name)
• Transaction Manager Database Name (tm_database)
• Maximum Total Files Open per Application (maxtotfilop)
• Default Charge-Back Account (dft_account_str)
• Discover Server Instance (discover_inst)
• Java Development Kit 1.1 Installation Path (jdk11_path)
• Enable Data Links Support (datalinks)
