Displaying the results of locating
These steps are part of the larger task of locating an object.
When you complete the operations on this results window, return
to the Locate window if you started the search by clicking apply.
Use the Locate Result window to view the output of your search
based on criteria specified in the Locate window. The format of the
output table depends on the object type that was searched.
To view the results of locating an object:
- Select a row that appears in the Result window. Then right-click
on that row to see a pop-up menu with actions appropriate for the object type.
- Click on a menu choice to open the associated window.
- Click Close to close the window.
