Copying a target table

Use the Copy Target Table window to copy the selected target table to another warehouse target.

Authorities and privileges

To copy a target table:

1. Open the Copy Target window.

2. In the Name field, type the name that you want the copy to have.

3. In the New warehouse target field, specify the name of the warehouse target that is to contain the target table by selecting the name from the list or typing the name.

4. If you do not want the Data Warehouse Center to create a new table in the database for the new warehouse target, clear the Create new table check box. (Otherwise, when the step that uses the target table is promoted to test mode, the Data Warehouse Center will create the table in the database for the new warehouse target.)

5. Click OK.

The target table is copied to the warehouse target that you specified.
