Defining a warehouse schema

Use the Define Warehouse Schema notebook to define a warehouse schema.

Authorities and privileges

To define a warehouse schema:

1. Open the DefineWarehouse Schema notebook.

2. In the Name field, specify a schema name. This field is mandatory.

3. Optional: In the Administrator field, specify an administrator.

4. Optional: In the Description field, type a description.

5. Optional: Type any notes in the Notes field.

6. Optional: If you want the Data Warehouse Center to show you only tables in one database, select the Use only one database check box, and select the database name from the Warehouse Target Database drop-down list.

7. Click OK to define the warehouse schema. A node with the specified schema name is added to the object tree below the selected node.
