Publish OLAP Server Metadata--Fields and controls

Object name

Type the name of the object whose metadata you want to publish to the information catalog. The object name consists of 4 parts in the following format:

 servername.applicationname.databasename.outlinename

where:

servername is the name of the OLAP server (DB2 OLAP or Essbase Server)

applicationname is the name of the Essbase application that contains the database that is identified by the databasename.

databasename is the name of the Essbase database that identifies the outline identified by the outlinename.

outlinename is the name of the Essbase outline whose metadata you want to publish.

For example:
