Use the Process Model window to test a step. After you define a step and link it to its source and target table, you can run the step to test it. You must promote the step to test status before you can run it.
To test a step:
Right-click the step.
Click Test.
A confirmation window opens after the step stops running.
To view the results of the step you just ran, right-click the target and click Sample Contents.
