Changing initialization settings

Use the Advanced window to change one or more of the following settings that you specified during initialization: warehouse control database, server host name, and server service name.

To change initialization settings:

1. Open the Warehouse Center Logon window.

2. Click Advanced.

3. In the Control database field, type the ODBC system data set name (system DSN) for the warehouse control database.

4. In the Server host name field, type the TCP/IP host name for the workstation where the Data Warehouse Center server is installed.

5. In the Server service name field, type the TCP/IP service name for the service port for the Data Warehouse Center.

   You can see the current value of the service service name on the Server page of the Data Warehouse Center Properties notebook.

6. Click OK.
