Editing generated SQL

These steps are part of the larger task Defining a Warehouse Target Table. When you complete the steps for Editing generated SQL, return to Defining a Warehouse Target Table.

To edit generated SQL:

1. Click Show SQL. The Show SQL window opens.

2. Click Edit. The SQL statement is now editable.

3. Type your changes in the SQL statement field.

4. Click OK to return to the Warehouse Target Table notebook.

   The changes that you make to the SQL are not saved until you click OK to close the Warehouse Target Table notebook. If you click Cancel to close the Warehouse Target Table notebook, the changes you made to the SQL will be discarded.
