Moving a table to another warehouse target

You can move a target table to another warehouse target.

The new warehouse target must be a database warehouse target.

You cannot move a warehouse target that is used by a step in production mode.

Authorities and privileges

To move a table to another warehouse target:

1. Open the Data Warehouse Center.

2. Click the plus sign next to the Warehouse folder.

3. Click the plus sign next to the Warehouse Targets folder.

4. Click the plus sign next to the warehouse target that contains the table you want to copy.

5. Click the plus sign next to the Tables folder.

6. Right-click the target table that you want to move.

7. Click Move.

   A message prompts you to save the changes you've made to the process model. The Move Target Table window opens.

8. In the New warehouse target field, specify the name of the warehouse target that is to contain the table by selecting the name from the list or typing the name.

9. Click OK.

The table is moved to the warehouse target that you specified.
