Moving a step to another process

Use the Move Step window to move the selected step to another process.

Authorities and privileges

To move a step to another process:

  1. Open the Data Warehouse Center.

  2. Click the plus sign next to the Warehouse folder.

  3. Click the plus sign next to the Administration folder.

  4. Click the plus sign next to the Programs and Transformers folder.

  5. Click the plus sign next to the folder for the type of the step.

  6. If applicable, click the plus sign next to the folder for the subtype of the step.

  7. Right-click the step that you want to move.

  8. Click Move. A message prompts you to save the changes you've made to the process model. The Move Step window opens.

  9. In the New process field, specify the name of the process that is to contain the step by selecting the name from the list or typing the name.

  10. Click OK.

The step is moved to the process that you specified.
