Establishing connectivity to the warehouse server

Before you connect to the warehouse server from a Data Warehouse Center administrative interface for the first time, you must ensure that your workstation can connect to the warehouse server.

To establish connectivity to the warehouse server:

1. Using DB2 Client Setup, create a DB2 node entry for the warehouse server.

2. Using DB2 Client Setup, catalog the warehouse control database as a DB2 database.

3. Open the Windows NT Control Panel.

4. Start the ODBC32 applet and register the control database to ODBC as a system DSN.
