Accessing user objects

If your agent needs to access user environment variables or other user objects, such as LAN drives, you should specify that the Data Warehouse Center Server runs as a user process instead of as system process.

To access user objects with the default agent:

1. Select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Services.

2. If you want to access user objects using the default agent, click Warehouse Server. Then, click Startup.

3. If you want to access user object using a non-default agent, click Warehouse Agent Daemon. Then, click Startup.

4. In the Log On As: area, click This Account.

5. Click and select a user ID that can access the user objects.

6. Type the password that is required to access the user objects in the Password and Confirm Password fields.

7. Click OK.

8. Restart the Data Warehouse Center.
