Creating and changing utility procedures
Use the Create Utility Procedures, Create
Like Utility Procedures, or Utility Procedures
Properties windows to build and manipulate
utility procedures. Utility procedures are
used to specify a series of utilities to
be run on object lists.
Authorities and privileges
To create or update a utility procedure or
to update utility procedure properties:
- Open the Create Utility Procedures window,
Create Like Utility Procedure window,or the Utility Procedure Properties window.
- If a name is not already present in the Utility procedure name text field, type in a unique utility procedure
name.
- Optional: Type any comments in the Comment text field.
- Optional: Use the Add push button to open the add window allowing you to add
a new element to the utility procedure.
- Optional: Use the Change push button to adjust the utility settings
on an Object List in the procedure.
- Optional: Use the Show Statements push button to view the utility statements
of the selected elements in the utility procedure.
- Click the OK push button.
