Displaying partition or data set details

Use the Show Data Sets or Show Partitions window to view detailed information about table space partitions or table space data sets of the currently selected table space.

Authorities and privileges

To view data set members:

1. Open the Show Data Sets or Show Partitions window
   
   
2. Select a row that appears in the table. Each row represents either a partition of a partitioned table space or a data set of a non-partitioned table space. Right-click on the selected row to see a pop-up menu with actions appropriate for the selected table space.
   
   
3. Click on a menu choice to open the associated window.
   
   
4. Click Close to close the window.
