Changing a WHEN condition

Use the Change WHEN condition window to modify a WHEN argument describing the conditions for unloading or discarding records from a table. When the condition is true, the row qualifies for unloading or discarding. When the condition is false or unknown, the row does not qualify.

These steps are part of the larger task of reorganizing a table space. When you complete the steps for changing the condition statements, return to the main task.

To change a WHEN condition:

  1. In the Change WHEN condition notebook, you cannot change the table owner or table name, but you can view the names that were originally chosen.

  2. You can view or edit the WHEN clause that you created. You can derive your own clause by typing over the currently displayed clause, or add more predicate columns to the existing clause.

  3. Click OK to save the changes and close the window.
