Changing table options

These steps are part of the larger task of collecting table space statistics. When you complete the steps for adding table options for RUNSTATS, return to either the Table Space Statistics task from Partitioned Table Space Statistics task (for DB2 for OS/390 Version 5 or 6) or Table Space Statistics task (for DB2 for OS/390 Version 5 or 6) or the table space or table LOAD (for DB2 for OS/390 Version 6 and later).

To change table options for table space statistics using individual tables:

  1. In the Table owner field, type the table owner name.

  2. In the Table name field, type the table name. The table must already exist in the table space.

  3. In the Percent rows sampled for non-index columnsfield, specify a percentage of rows to sample. Valid values are from 1 to 100 percent. The default is 25 percent. Do not use this field if your table space is a LOB table space.

  4. Click OK to accept the values and close the window.

Depending on the task that you were doing when you selected to change table options for RUNSTATS, return to either:

[Table Space Load task ]
