Opening the Generate DDL window
To open the Generate DDL window from databases:
From the Control Center window, expand the
object tree until you find the Databases folder.
Click the Databases folder to show existing databases in the
pane on the right side of the window (the
contents pane).
Right-click a database object and select
Generate DDL from the pop-up menu. The Generate DDL window
opens.
To open the Generate DDL window from table
spaces:
- From the Control Center window, expand the
object tree until you find the Databases folder.
- Expand the Databases folder and click the Table Spaces folder to show existing table spaces in
the pane on the right side of the window
(the contents pane).
- Right-click a table space object and select
Generate DDL from the pop-up menu. The Generate DDL window
opens.
To open the Generate DDL window from table
objects:
- From the Control Center window, expand the
object tree until you find the Databases folder.
- Expand the Databases folder and click the Tables folder to show existing tables in the pane
on the right side of the window (the contents
pane).
- Right-click a table object and select Generate DDL from the pop-up menu. The Generate DDL window
opens
For DB2 UDB for OS/390 Version 6 and later:
To open the Generate DDL window from schema
objects:
- From the Control Center window, expand the
object tree until you find the Schemas folder.
- Click the Schemas folder to show existing schemas in the pane
on the right side of the window (the contents
pane).
- Right-click a schema object and select Generate DDL from the pop-up menu. The Generate DDL window
opens.
To open the Generate DDL window from distinct
types:
- From the Control Center window, expand the
object tree until you find the Application Objects folder.
- Expand the Application Objects folder and click the Distinct Types folder to show existing distinct types in
the pane on the right side of the window
(the contents pane).
- Right-click a distinct type object and select
Generate DDL from the pop-up menu. The Generate DDL window
opens.
To open the Generate DDL window from user
defined functions:
- From the Control Center window, expand the
object tree until you find the Application Objects folder.
- Expand the Application Objects folder and click the User Defined Functions folder to show existing user defined functions
in the pane on the right side of the window
(the contents pane).
- Right-click a user defined function object
and select Generate DDL from the pop-up menu. The Generate DDL window
opens.
To open the Generate DDL window from stored
procedure objects:
- From the Control Center window, expand the
object tree until you find the Application Objects folder.
- Expand the Application Objects folder and click the Procedures folder to show existing stored procedures
in the pane on the right side of the window
(the contents pane).
- Right-click a stored procedure object and
select Generate DDL from the pop-up menu. The Generate DDL window
opens
