Deleting a data set or data set member
Use the Delete data set window to confirm
that you want to delete one or more data
sets or members of a data set. Deleting a
partitioned data set (PDS) or a partitioned
data set extended (PDSE) deletes all of the
members of the data set.
Authorities and privileges for data sets
originate in the MVS environment.
To delete a data set:
Open the Confirmation window.
Optional: If you do not want to delete a
data set or member of a data set, clear the
check box next to the name in the Delete column.
- Click OK to delete all selected data sets or data
set members. Only items whose check boxes
are selected in the window are deleted.
