Example of Adding a Buffer Pool

1. Click the Add Buffer Pool push button. A new row appears in the table.
2. Fill in the buffer pool name:
   • If you are adding a new buffer pool, type new 1-8 character buffer pool name.
   • If the buffer pool exists, click to open the List Buffer Pools window.

   From the List Buffer Pools window, select the buffer pool name you want to use. The name you select appears in the name field on the buffer pool page of the Create DB User notebook.

Allow

Click this menu choice to grant a privilege to a user.

Allow with Grant

Click this menu choice to grant a privilege to a user plus the authority to grant the privilege to another user.
