" " File System

Select this radio button if you want to open a file located in a directory.

" " From Script Center

Select this radio button if you want to open a file that has been previously saved to the Script Center.

" " System name

This field lets you specify the location of the instance to which you want to attach.

" " Path entry field

Specifies a directory or path. You can either type the path, or you can use the directory list box and drive combination box (OS/2 and Windows 32-bit operating systems only) to build the path. If you type a UNC name, such as \\localhost\e$\test the path browser ignores the drive and directory selection.

" " Files list

This list shows the files in the current directory. Click a file in the list to add it to the File or Path entry field.

" " Directories list

This list shows the directories in the current directory.

" " Drives list (OS/2 and Windows 32-bit operating systems only)

This box lists the valid drives on the system. To change the selected drive, use one of these methods:

Remember that this list contains all the drives on the system where the database you are working with resides. This means that it may list the drives on your local system or on a remote system. If the Control Center could not connect to the remote system, the drive list will be empty. However, if this happens you can enter the drive letter manually by typing it in.
