" " Path

Use this field to identify the location (or path) where files are to be written or read. You can enter the path or use the Directories and Drives fields to specify it.

A path begins with the letter of the disk drive followed by the names of all the directories leading to a file's storage location. For example : C:\SQLLIB\doc\html

" " Directories

This field displays a list of all available directories.

When the Browse window opens, this list lists all the root directories for the disk drive that is displayed in the Drives field. You can work with the directories located on a different drive by changing the value in the Drives field.

From the list, select the directories in the path:

  1. Locate the first directory in the path and double-click it. The selected directory and its drive are listed in the Path field, and the Directory field lists the subdirectories for the directory that you selected.
  2. Continue selecting directories until the path is complete.

" " Drives

This field displays a disk drive letter, usually representing a disk associated with your system's hard drive.

You can change the drive letter by expanding the drop-down list and double-clicking on the drive that you want. Changing the drive also changes the directories listed in the Directories field to those located on the new disk.
