If you want to turn off SQLCODE mapping, specify NOMAP in the parameter string of the DCS Directory or the DCE routing information object. If you port an application directly from a host or AS/400 database server (such as DB2 UDB for OS/390), you might want to turn off SQLCODE mapping. This would let you use the application without changing the SQLCODEs that it references.
