Symptom
Viewer reports error "unable to open files".
Cause
An HTML file is missing from your local machine. They may be missing completely or they may be installed on a web server somewhere else.
Action
Install the product documentation from the installation media. If you are on a Windows or OS/2 server, to get the application programming books, you may need to install the Application Developer's Kit For the task information, you must install the DB2 Control Center and its HTML online help.
If the HTML files are on a web server, use the Options menu and select the directory on the web server where the documentation is installed. For examples, see Linking to DB2 Online Information on a Web Server.
