Dropping an index

Use the Confirmation window to confirm that you want to delete the index or indexes selected in the Drop box.

When an index is deleted, its description is deleted from the catalog and any packages that reference the index become invalid.

To drop an index:

1. Open the Confirmation window.

2. Click OK to delete the index or indexes you selected in the Drop box.
