Adding user groups to the Group box

Use the Add Group window to add user groups to the Group box on the Group page of the Database Authorities notebook. You can add only groups that hold no authorities on the selected database.

To add user groups to the Group list box:

  1. Open the Add Group window.

  2. Use the box on the Add Group window to specify the authorization name of a user group to which you want to grant authorities on the selected database.

  3. Click on Apply. The authorization name displays in the Group column on the Group page.

  4. Optional: Repeat steps 2 and 3 as many times and you want.

  5. Click on Cancel to cancel the Add Group window and return to the notebook.
