Altering a user mapping

Use the Alter User Mapping window to alter an existing user mapping to a different user ID at the data source. The fields that you can alter are the data source user ID, password, or DRDA accounting string for a user mapping.

To alter a user mapping:

  1. Open the Alter User Mapping window.

  2. Alter the User ID for data source, Password for data source or DRDA accounting string:

  3. DB2 for OS/390 only and optional: In the DRDA accounting string field, type the name of the DRDA accounting string.

  4. Click OK to alter an existing user mapping at the data source.
