Use the Alter User Mapping window to alter an existing user mapping to a
different user ID at the data source. The fields that you can alter are
the data source user ID, password, or DRDA accounting string for a user
mapping.

To alter a user mapping:
- Open the Alter User Mapping window.
- Alter the User ID for data source, Password for data source or DRDA
accounting string:
- To alter the user ID in the User ID for data source field, type
the user ID at the data source that you want to create a user mapping
for.
- To change the password:
- In the Password for data source field, type the password for
the user ID at the data source.
- In the Confirm password field, type the
password for the data source again to confirm the first entry.
- DB2 for OS/390 only and optional: In the DRDA accounting
string field, type the name of the DRDA accounting string.
- Click OK to alter an existing user mapping at the data
source.
