Selecting a target or a server

Use the Target/Server Selection window to select the target that you want. The target can be a system, a DB2 instance or a DB2 subsystem, or a DB2 database.

Fields and controls

To select a system or a target:

1. Select the system that you want from the System column.

2. If you want to select a DB2 instance or a DB2 subsystem, select it from the Instance/Subsystem column.

   Note:

   If you select an OS/390 system, this column is called Subsystem, and the Database column is not displayed.

3. If you want to select a DB2 database, select it from the Database column.

4. Click OK.
