Editing a script

Use the Edit Script window to edit a script.

Fields and controls

To edit a script:

1. Open the Edit Script window.

2. In the File name field, specify a file name for the script.

3. In the Description field, type a description for the script.

4. In the Type box, select the radio button that applies to the script.

5. Click Import if you want to import additional scripts from the Script Center to the Script contents box.

6. If you want to modify the script, edit it in the Script contents box.

7. If the script is parameterized, select the Parameterized check box.

8. If you want to use a character other than the back slash (\) as the continuation character for either a database or an instance script, specify it in the Statement termination character field.

9. Click OK.
