Authorities, privileges, and prerequisite tasks

To list the current local databases applications:

  1. Open the Local Databases page. The applications for the local databases on the instance are displayed.

The list of applications is automatically refreshed. The refresh rate is defined by your default monitor for connections. You can also do an explicit refresh by clicking Refresh.

Note:Listing applications at the instance and database levels uses your default monitor for connections. Since only one monitor can be running on an instance at any given time, it is possible that your list applications request might fail because another performance monitor is already active. It is also possible that invoking a list applications request could prevent another monitor from starting.
