Adding performance variables to a monitor

Use the Add window to add performance variables to a specific performance monitor so that the monitor will collect the information when it runs.

To add performance variables to a monitor:

1. Open the Add window.

2. Select all performance variables you wish to add.

   Note:

   A performance variable can be associated with more than one group. Selecting such a performance variable will activate all its occurrences in the list.

3. Click OK to apply any changes you have made and to close the window. When the next sample is taken, the monitor will collect the information you have added.

4. Any performance variable changes that you have made to a monitor can be saved to the monitor's profile (if you have the required authority). Closing the Show Monitor notebook will prompt you to confirm the save.
