Changing the license type policy

Use the Change window of the License Center notebook to change the license type policy on an installed DB2 product.

To change the license type policy:

1. Open the Change window of the License Center notebook.

2. In the System Name field select the system for which you want to change the license type policy.

3. In the Installed Products field select the installed product for which you want to change the license type policy.

4. Change one, or both, of the following license types:

• Use the Concurrent users check box to enable the concurrent users policy. The concurrent users policy controls and monitors the number of users that can connect simultaneously to a single DB2 server.

• Use the Registered users check box to enable the registered users policy. The registered user policy controls and monitors users, by User ID, that are allowed to connect a server. A registered users policy is used in an environment with more than one DB2 server.
