Backing up a database partition

You back up a database partition to create a back-up image that you can use to restore the database partition.

To back up a database partition:

1. Open the Database Partitions view.

2. Select the database partition that you want.

3. Select Database Partitions->Backup.

   The Backup Database Partition notebook opens.
