Configure Instance -- Administration

Use the Administration page of the Configure Instance notebook to view and change the configuration parameters that affect the administration environment of your database manager instance. Parameters that affect the administration environment are:

• System Administration Authority Group Name (sysadm_group)
• System Control Authority Group Name (sysctrl_group)
• System Maintenance Authority Group Name (sysmaint_group)
• Authentication Type (authentication)
• Trust All Clients (trust_allclnts)
• Trusted Clients Authentication (trust_clntauth)
• LOGON Required for DB2START/DB2STOP (ss_logon)
• Default Database Path (dftdbpath)
• Cataloging Allowed without Authority (catalog_noauth)
