Recovering threads

These steps are part of the larger task of displaying threads. When you complete the steps for recover a thread, return to the main task.

Recovery is by connection name. Allied threads (including those that are distributed) belonging to that connection name are recovered.

To recover threads:

  1. Specify the Commit radio button to commit the recovered thread. If there are any downstream participants for which the local thread is the coordinator, then the commit or abort decision is propagated to these participants.

  2. Specify the Abort radio button to cancel the thread. If there are any downstream participants for which the local thread is the coordinator, then the commit or abort decision is propagated to these participants.

  3. Click OK to recover the thread and close the window.
