Enabling column privileges

Select the Enable Column Privileges check box to specify the columns for which to grant privileges for user IDs. After you select this check box, you can specify the columns and privileges to grant.

To enable column privileges:

1. Select a row in the User ID box. A list of the table columns is displayed.
2. Select the columns that you want to enable for the user ID that you selected.
3. Right-click the cell for which you want to grant privilege.
4. Select the privilege that you want the user to have by clicking either Allow with Grant, or Allow in the list box.

   NOTE: The Grant and Allow buttons on this window do not affect column privileges. You can allow column privileges only by right clicking the cell and selecting the privilege you want to give.
