Create User Mappings -- Fields and controls

Use the Create User Mappings window to map your user ID to another user ID at a data source.

This box lists all the user ID that are not currently mapped to user IDs at a data source. Use this box to select a user ID that you want to create a user mapping for and then click > to move it into the Selected user IDs box

Use these push buttons to change the user IDs displayed in the Available local user IDs and Selected user IDs boxes. You can use:

To move the user IDs in the Available local user IDs box to the Selected user IDs box.

To move all user IDs in the Available local user IDs box to the Selected user IDs box.

To move the user IDs in the Selected user IDs box to theAvailable local user IDs box.

To move all user IDs in the Selected user IDs box to theAvailable local user ID box.

" " Selected user IDs

This box lists all the selected user IDs that you want to create user mappings for. Use this box to view the list of selected user IDs or to select user IDs that you want to remove from the list with the > push button.

" " Add

Click Add to open the Add User ID window to add an additional user ID to the Selected user IDs box of the Create User Mappings window.

" " User ID for data source

Type the data source user ID that you want to map to.

" " Password for data source

Type the password for the user ID that you are creating a user mapping for.

" " Confirm password

Type the password for the data source user ID to confirm that you are using the correct password.

" " DRDA accounting string

DB2 for OS/390 only and optional: Type the DRDA accounting strings on DB2 for OS/390. This information lets administrators associate resource usage with each user's access, and charge the users accordingly.
