Batch steps
Select the success code set that you want to associate with the
script. The columns in this box are as follows:
- Type
- The type of the batch step. The possible values are:
- Production
- The batch step is a production batch step. This type of batch step
cannot be modified.
- Test
- The batch step is a test batch step. This type of batch step can be
modified.
- Obsolete
- The batch step is obsolete. This type of batch step cannot be
modified.
- Script file name
- The name of the script file that is associated with the batch step.
- Script type
- The type of script. The possible values are:
- Instance
- The script executes against a DB2 instance.
- Database
- The script executes against a DB2 database.
- OS
- The script executes against an operating system, or operating system
objects.
- Target alias
- The alias of the DB2 instance or DB2 database against which the script
will executed.
Note: | OS-type scripts do not have an associated target.

- The named set of success codes associated with the script.
