Column headings
The column headings displayed correspond to the object being monitored. For example, if a monitor was opened at the database level, then the tab for this page would be Databases and the column headings would be performance variables for the database level. The possible levels are:
In addition to performance variable columns, the Summary page at the database level includes the following columns:
Name
The name of the database being monitored. For databases in DB2 Connect, this is the database alias at the gateway.
Status
The current status of the database.
In addition to performance variable columns, the Summary page at the connections level includes the following columns:
Name
The name of the connection being monitored.
Application Name
The name of the application running on the client that identifies it to the database manager or DB2 Connect.
Status
The current status of the application.
Login ID
The ID that was specified when the user running the application logged in to the operating system.
Application Handle (agent ID)
A system-wide unique ID for the application. On multi-node systems, where a database is partitioned, this ID will be the same on every node where the application may make a secondary connection.
In addition to performance variable columns, the Summary page at the other levels includes the following column:
Name
The name of the node, table, or table space being monitored.
