" " Monitor name

This column contains the name of the monitor.

" " Description

This column contains the description of the monitor.

" " Status

This column shows the status of the monitor (either started or stopped).

" " Default for level

If a monitor is the default monitor for a level or levels, that level will appear in the Default for level column. A monitor can be the default monitor for more than one level. If no level (either instance, database, table, table space, or connections) appears in the Default for level column, then that monitor is not the default monitor for any level.

" " Created by

This column indicates who created the monitor. In the case of IBM supplied predefined monitors, NULLID appears in this column.

" " Create

Click this push button and the Create Monitor notebook opens.

" " Change

Click this push button and the Change Monitor notebook opens.

" " Remove

Select the monitor (or monitors) that you want to remove. Click Remove to remove the selected monitor. The Remove confirmation box will appear to confirm that you want to remove the monitor. Click OK. The monitor will be removed. A monitor that is currently running cannot be removed. There are two ways to select more than one monitor. You can hold down the shift button and select the desired monitors with mouse button 1, or you can highlight the desired monitors using mouse button 2.

Click this push button and the Copy Monitor window opens.

" " Rename

Click this push button and the Rename Monitor window opens.

" " Show activity

Click this push button and the List Monitored Objects window opens. In the List monitored Objects window, select the desired object and click OK. The Show Monitor notebook opens showing the monitor that is currently running on the object you selected.

" " List monitored objects

Click this push button and the List Monitored Objects window opens.

" " Stop on all

Click this push button to stop the monitor on all of the objects on which it is currently running. This button is enabled when the selected monitor is started.

" " Refresh

Click this button to refresh the list of monitors.

Note: If one of the monitors is in use locally, the list will be refreshed locally. Otherwise the list is refreshed from the server.
