Use the Nickname Options window to change the values for all tables and views in the Create Nicknames window.

Fold nicknames to uppercase

Schema

Use this box to change the value in the Schema column for all tables and views in the Create Nicknames window. Use one of the following methods:

• Click the down arrow to display a list of schema values and select one.

• Type the name or schema value that you want to assign to the schema. This name can contain up to 18 characters.

Nicknames

Use this box to specify the naming convention for nicknames. This value will be displayed in the Nicknames column of the Create Nicknames window. Use one of the following methods:

• Click the down arrow to display a list of nickname substitutes and select one.

• Type the value that you want to assign to the nicknames. This name can contain up to 128 characters.

Fold nicknames to uppercase

Check the box next to the Fold nicknames to uppercase to specify the folding options for the values that you selected in the Schema and Nicknames columns.
